Darcy Street Project is a Social Enterprise determined to break the cycle of homelessness, unemployment and social exclusion by using education, coffee and food culture as a vehicle for social impact.

PAY - IT - FORWARD MEALS.

Every week we give free meals to shelters, food pantries and charities across Sydney. We also feed anyone in the Macquarie Park area doing it tough.

If you or someone you know is doing it tough, please contact us to organise some free meals. We would love to help.

Helping young people today prepare for future jobs.

Most jobs advertised today require years of experience, but how do you get experience if entry level jobs are becoming harder to find?

It is no secret that for years the job market has gotten smaller for our young job seekers and replaced by fewer opportunities for full time employment.

Out of 1.3 Million jobs advertised online, only around 6,000 jobs were advertised with ‘no experience required.’ Only 0.5% of available positions are entry-level*

Pay It Forward Meals.

When you purchase from our Social Impact Catering Menu we then “pay forward” an additional meal to someone else doing it tough.

We donate and deliver fresh and wholesome meals to Woman and Youth Shelters.

Preparing young people for an uncertain workforce in the future.

Darcy Street Project’s main focus is giving young people the opportunities and pathways to achieve greater success through developing practical and personal skills, otherwise known as ‘Enterprise skills’ on the job, not in a classroom.

Since 2014 we have offered coffee classes to High School students & Teachers, Youth organisations, Not for Profits and contracts with cafes, restaurants, hotels and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).

Our training is relevant, fun and a great way to meet new people and open up employment opportunities.
